In this data protection declaration, you will find out what personal data we collect when you visit and use our website, what purposes we pursue with it, and how you can update, manage, export and delete your personal data. When this privacy policy refers to the processing of personal data, it means any handling of personal data. This includes, for example, their collection, storage, management, use, transmission, disclosure or deletion.
This privacy policy applies to visitors and users of our website. By visiting and using our website, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy forms an integral part of the Terms of Use regarding our website. By entering personal data and other data on our website, the user agrees to the processing of the data and personal data collected about him or her in the manner and for the purposes described in this privacy policy.
2. Responsible office
The responsible body in terms of data protection law for the processing of personal data and for concerns regarding data protection in general or this data protection declaration in particular is Janjöri & Partner GmbH with its registered office in Igis. If you have any questions, please contact the contact specified in the imprint.
3. Cookies
Our website may use cookies. Cookies are text files that are placed and stored on a computer system via an internet browser.
Numerous websites and servers use cookies. Many cookies contain a so-called cookie ID. A cookie ID is a unique identifier of the cookie. It consists of a string of characters by which Internet pages and servers can be assigned to the specific Internet browser in which the cookie was stored. This enables the visited Internet pages and servers to distinguish the individual browser of the data subject from other Internet browsers that contain other cookies. A specific internet browser can be recognised and identified via the unique cookie ID. Through the use of cookies, the users of the website can be provided with more user-friendly services that would not be possible without the cookie setting.
The user of our website can prevent the setting of cookies at any time by means of an appropriate setting of the Internet browser used and thus permanently object to the setting of cookies. Furthermore, cookies that have already been set can be deleted at any time using an internet browser or other software programmes. This is possible in all common Internet browsers. If the user deactivates the setting of cookies in the Internet browser used, however, not all functions of our website may be fully usable.
4. Processing of data and personal data
4.1 General information
We may collect both personal and non-personal data (collectively "data") when you visit our website. Personal data ("Personal Data") is data relating to an identified or identifiable natural person and therefore allows conclusions to be drawn about your identity.
We primarily process personal data that is provided to us by users of our website or that originates from other sources, some of which are publicly accessible. Finally, to the extent permitted, we also process data and personal data that we receive from the respective users during the operation of our website (e.g. through the use of cookies).
4.2 Data processing
Our website collects a series of data with every call. This data is stored in the log files of the server. For example, the browser types and versions used, the operating system used by the accessing system, the Internet page from which an accessing system accesses our website (so-called referrer), the sub-websites that are accessed via an accessing system on our website, the date and time of an access, an Internet protocol address (IP address), the Internet service provider of the accessing system and other similar data that serve to avert danger in the event of attacks on our systems may be recorded.
When using this data, no conclusions are drawn about the data subject. Rather, this data is required to correctly deliver the content of our website, to optimise our website as well as the advertising for it, to ensure the permanent functionality of our systems and the technology of our website as well as to provide law enforcement authorities with the information necessary for prosecution in the event of a cyber attack. Therefore, we use this data and information for statistical purposes only and with the aim of increasing data protection and data security, so as to ensure an optimal level of protection for the personal data we process.
4.3 Purpose of data processing and legal basis
We process data in particular for the purpose of fulfilling contractual obligations, the operation and use of our website.
Where necessary, we process personal data beyond the actual performance of the contract to protect so-called legitimate interests on our part or on the part of third parties. Examples of this are:

-
Assertion of legal claims and defence in legal disputes.
-
Ensuring IT security and IT operational analysis of the use of our website and our online platform, ensuring and improving the functionality and user-friendliness of our website and our online platform (including through the use of messenger services and use of the interface software required for this).
-
Prevention and investigation of criminal offences.

Insofar as you have given us your consent to process personal data for certain purposes, the lawfulness of these processing operations is given on the basis of your consent. Consent given can be revoked at any time. The revocation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the data processed until the revocation. Personal data may also be processed if this is necessary due to legal requirements and due to a public interest.
The collected data will only be processed for the declared purpose. Personal data will only be processed for purposes other than those described if a legal provision permits this or if you have consented to the changed purpose of the data processing. In the event of data processing for purposes other than those for which the personal data was originally collected, we will inform users of this purpose prior to the new processing operation and provide them with all other relevant information.
4.4 Links to social media platforms, web storage
Links to social media platforms such as Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram and TikTok are set on our website and online platform.
The share links to social media platforms used here behave like normal links. As long as the links are not clicked and the user does not leave the website and does not switch within the browser, e.g. to Facebook, no user data is transmitted to this social media platform. When visiting our website, the social plug-ins are deactivated and no data is transmitted to the operators of these social media platforms without further action. If the user wishes to use one of the social media platforms, he or she must click on the respective social plug-in to establish a direct connection with the server of the respective network.

If the user has a user account with the respective social media platform and is logged in there at the moment the social plug-in is activated, the network can assign the visit to our website and online platform to the user's account. If the user wishes to avoid this, he or she must log out of the respective social media platform before activating the social plug-in.

When the user activates a social plug-in, the social media platform transmits the content that becomes available as a result directly to the user's browser, which integrates it into our website and online platform. In this situation, data transmissions may also take place that are initiated and controlled by the respective social network. For connections to a social media platform, the data transfers taking place between the network and the user's system and for interactions on this platform, the data protection provisions of the respective social media platform apply exclusively. It should be noted that the social plug-in remains active until it is deactivated or cookies are deleted.
It should be noted that when a social plug-in is clicked on or activated, it is possible that personal data may reach providers in countries outside Switzerland, the EU and the European Economic Area (EEA) which, from the perspective of Switzerland and the EU, do not ensure an "adequate level of protection" for the processing of personal data in accordance with the standards set there. This circumstance should be considered before clicking on a link or activating a social plug-in and thus triggering a transfer of data or personal data.

If links and/or videos (e.g. via Youtube, Vimeo, etc.) and other services (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, etc.) are integrated by the user, this is done at the user's own responsibility. Such links do not represent any approval on the part of Janjöri & Partner GmbH of the contents of these external websites. Janjöri & Partner GmbH accepts no responsibility for the availability or content of such websites and no liability for damage or injury resulting from the use of external websites and their content.

Web storage (also called DOM storage or supercookies) is a technique for web applications that stores data in a web browser. DOM storage supports permanent data storage, similar to cookies, as well as local, session-dependent storage. In contrast to cookies, which can be accessed by both servers and clients (browsers), DOM storage is completely controlled by the client (browser). Data is not transferred to the server with every HTTP request and a web server cannot write data directly in the DOM storage. Access is exclusively via scripts on the website. The saving of data in the web storage can also be prevented by not accepting cookies. However, we would like to point out that the rejection of web storage can lead to restrictions in the function of our website and online platform.
4.5 Web analytics
We may use so-called web analysis or tracking technologies.

This includes Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. To deactivate Google Analytics, Google provides a browser add-on at http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the website (including IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google and will only pass it on to us in anonymised form. The user may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on the browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

We use Google Maps on our website to display locations and map information. Google Maps is a mapping service provided by Google LLC, for the display of an interactive map and for the creation of directions. Google Maps is operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. If you call up the Google Maps component integrated into our website, Google will store a cookie on your end device via your internet browser. The connection to Google established in this way enables Google to determine the website from which your request was sent and the IP address to which the directions are to be transmitted. The Google privacy policy and additional terms of use for Google Maps can be found at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de. You can also change the loading of Google plugins in your privacy settings at https://myaccount.google.com/intro.
4.6 Links to other websites
Occasionally we place links to third party websites. We cannot guarantee or be liable for the accuracy or completeness of the content, or the privacy practices, of third party websites. This privacy policy also does not apply to linked third party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy statements or the content of other websites.
5. Your rights
Users have different rights depending on the applicable legal basis. The rights can be asserted at the contact address given in this privacy policy.

If the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG) is applicable, users are entitled to assert the right to information, the right to correction, the right to deletion and the right to restriction of data processing. Furthermore, users are entitled to object to the processing of data by us. In addition, given consent to the processing of personal data can be revoked. The revocation is only effective for the future. Data processing that took place before the revocation is not affected by this.

Insofar as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is applicable, users can assert the right to information, the right to rectification, the right to deletion, the right to restriction of data processing, the right to object and the right to data portability. In addition, they can also revoke consent given to us to process your personal data in accordance with the GDPR. The revocation is only effective for the future. Data processing that took place before the revocation is not affected by this.

Furthermore, every user has the right to enforce his or her claims in court or to file a complaint with the competent data protection authority. The competent data protection authority in Switzerland is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
6. IT system protocols
Every time you use the internet, e.g. when calling up websites and sending e-mails, data is automatically transmitted, some of which could be classified as personal data and may be stored by us in so-called system logs.
7. Changes to the data protection information
We reserve the right to change this privacy policy at any time. The date of the last update can be found at the end of this privacy policy.
